LUVE Limited, trading as LUVÉ Design & Architecture (“LUVÉ”, “we”, “us”), respects your privacy. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. This policy explains what personal data we collect through luveinterior.com, why we collect it, who may receive it, and how you can access or correct it.
1. Personal data we collect
We only collect the personal data you give us through the forms on this website:
- Project enquiries (GET IN TOUCH and the New Client Form): your name, email address and phone number; your property address and unit size; the type of project; your budget range (optional); household details such as the number of residents and pets (optional); your design brief; and how you heard about us.
- Furniture enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and the pieces and options on your enquiry list.
- Media and general enquiries: your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, a short introduction and a link to your CV or portfolio.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Without them we may not be able to reply to your enquiry or assess your application. All other fields are optional.
2. How we use your personal data
We use your personal data only for the following purposes:
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations, site visits and calls;
- to prepare design proposals and quotations, and to provide our interior design, renovation and furniture services;
- to process furniture orders, delivery and after-sales service;
- to assess job applications;
- to keep records of our communications and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Direct marketing. We do not use your personal data for direct marketing (for example, newsletters or promotions) unless you have given us your consent. If we wish to do so, we will first tell you which data we would use and what we would promote, and ask for your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, by contacting us.
3. Who may receive your personal data
We keep your personal data confidential. We may share it only with:
- Service providers who run our website for us: Webflow, Inc. (website hosting and form submissions) and Google (reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from spam);
- Contractors, suppliers and furniture makers working on your project or order, who receive only the details they need (for example, your name, phone number and site or delivery address);
- Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers;
- any person to whom we are required to disclose it by law, or by a court or regulator.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Hong Kong, such as in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal data to a reasonable standard.
4. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. We review the data we hold regularly and delete enquiries and job applications that are no longer needed. Client and project records are kept for up to 7 years after the project ends, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
5. How we protect it
Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only staff who need your personal data to do their work can access it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
6. Cookies and browser storage
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Our website uses:
- Your browser’s local storage, to remember your furniture enquiry list and catalogue view on your own device. This stays on your device until you send us an enquiry.
- Google reCAPTCHA on our forms, which may set cookies to tell people from automated spam. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Content delivery networks that load our fonts, scripts and images. Like any website request, these services receive your IP address.
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Some parts of the website, such as the enquiry list, may then not work.
7. Links to other websites
Our website links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Xiaohongshu and our call-booking page. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
8. Your rights: access and correction
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to ask whether we hold your personal data, to ask for a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Please send your request in writing to our Data Protection Officer (contact details below). We will reply within 40 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for providing a copy of your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
